The We Buy Ugly Houses guys

Have you considered selling your house to the “We Buy Ugly Houses People”?

Most investors will pay up to 65% of the appraised value for your house. At that rate Why not just lower your asking price and sell the house for, let’s say about 80%?

Let’s say your property is worth $200K. Selling to one of the “We Buy Ugly Houses” people you will get an estimated $130k for you property. Now if you sell with a Realtor at 80% you get $160k minus the 12k Real Estate commission for a grand total of approximately $148K. That is an $18k difference.

We all know how BAD the current Real Estate market is!

So let’s say that you can’t even sell it at 80% and you have to drop to 70%. At that rate why not just have sold it at the 65% rate? If you subtract the 6% real estate commission you are at 64% and you still had to wait around and have all sorts of strangers walking in your house.

Yes, It’s a tough decision. To sell to a “We Buy Ugly House” guy or to sell with a Real Estate agent…..
